Chronology: 1978

A wire drawing plant is put into operation in addition to the existing rope work. With the installation of the first and only wire drawing machine with hydromechanical lubrication, a new technology is introduced in the wire drawing plant; this machine is still in use today working with highest precision and is a valuable supplement to the other machines currently in use.

Also, the machinery is expanded with many stranding machines in the course of time. The manufacturing of cables with a conductor cross-section of up to 2.000 mm² and more is no longer a challenge at this point in time.
